Skeleton Automatic Watch 44.5mm — Tonneau Steel Case, White Strap / A CLOSER LOOK

An open dial in a tonneau case

This is a statement watch, meant for the days when the watch is the point. The white strap keeps a big, mechanical-looking piece feeling light and summery, and it pairs best with simple clothes that let it stand out.

This skeleton automatic watch uses a tonneau (barrel-shaped) case that measures 44.5 mm across and 16 mm thick, in stainless steel with exposed screws around the bezel. There’s no solid dial: the bridges and gears of the movement form the face. A white silicone strap, 26 mm wide at the case, closes with a pin buckle.

Design notes

  • Self-winding. The rotor shows through the display case back.
  • One crown, no pushers. It tells hours, minutes and seconds; it isn’t a chronograph.

How to wear or use it

The open dial puts the visible mechanism at the center of the design. It adds detail to an otherwise simple outfit, with the case shape framing the movement like a small display.

Choosing the right fit

Compare the case measurements listed above with a watch you already wear. Diameter describes width across a round case; a rectangular case may list separate width and height measurements. Bracelet length, strap length and lug width are different dimensions, so check the ones that matter to your fit.

Care and storage

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep perfume, solvents and abrasive cleaners away from the finish. Store the watch separately from other metal pieces. Follow the instructions for the specific movement when setting the time or date.

Questions before you order

Does an automatic watch need a battery?

An automatic mechanical movement stores energy in a mainspring rather than a battery. It can stop when left unworn; follow the model instructions to restart and set it. Do not assume a particular power reserve unless listed.

Can I wear it in water?

Check the confirmed water-resistance rating and the use instructions for this exact model. A sports or diver-style appearance does not establish water suitability. If no rating is confirmed, keep the watch dry and do not swim or shower with it.
